Bo Yan is an associate professor at the Department of International Politics, Fudan University. She spent one year at the Yale Center for International and Area Studies before receiving her Ph.D from Fudan University in 2004. Her main areas of interest are global environmental governance and China's environmental diplomacy. She published her first book, International Negotiation and Domestic Politics: An Analysis of the US and the Kyoto Protocol, in 2007 (Shanghai SanLian Press). Since 2002, she has also published several articles in leading journals of International Relations in China, including European Studies, World Economics and Politics, and Foreign Affairs Review.
